Schwartz Projects is a new initiative created by Patrick Michalopoulos, the director of Schwartz Gallery, to investigate and seek out dynamic and more flexible models of exhibition-making. Schwartz Projects introduces IMPROMPTU, its first such investigation, a summary of which will appear on this blog over the next month until the exhibition opening on March 5th 2009.
This is intriguing, where and what is it from? What does it seek to describe?
ReplyDeleteA topological construction of the Klein quartic is fitting 24 heptagons together so that three meet in each vertex, the gluing data-picture (in the round) shows the hyperbolic plane : the different heptagons are given a number but they appear several times telling how they must fit together.
